General automation and Fishermen/cavern miners can each select up to two zones. Without a separate Fisherman selection, they use the general zones. Abyss units work only in their own fixed zones.
Active fishing is never restricted β you can always fish in any zone you own.
Finish in the top 5% of an Anglers Competition Island leaderboard and claim your reward β that also awards a permanent trophy: Gold for top 1%, Silver for top 3%, Bronze for top 5%.
Trophies are never lost. Every competition you place in adds another one to your Trophy Room.
Each trophy is worth points: Gold = 3, Silver = 2, Bronze = 1.
Every 10 trophy points unlocks a listed permanent bonus, up to 20 bonuses at 200 points. Further points grant no additional bonuses.
Tiers are automation-income milestones that unlock rewards. Reaching or claiming a tier does not itself increase income. Collect unlocked rewards before the event ends.
Reach a tier's income threshold to unlock its reward. Claim each reward individually as you hit the milestones.
Unclaimed rewards can be collected at any time before the event ends.
How to earn:

Geode Focus Β· 10 Momentum + 1h coins
30min active time: double cavern geode drop chance
Prestige Focus Β· 25 Momentum + 1h coins
+15% BP on next prestige (one-use charge, cannot stack)
Momentum Exchange
Exchange Momentum for a limited weekly supply of useful resources. Stock refreshes every Monday.
Relic Cache β 25 Momentum for 75 Relics, up to 8 times per week.
Diamond Pouch β 25 Momentum for 25 Diamonds, up to 20 times per week.
Pet XP Token β 25 Momentum gives exactly 500 XP to your active pet, up to 50 times per week. XP multipliers do not apply.
Reserved Minimum fills quotas before normal priority using idle vessels with the matching checkbox enabled. Quotas cannot be guaranteed without available vessels, resources and expeditions.
A1/A2/A3 have a separate checkbox row under each vessel and their own Reserved Minimum quota steppers. They use the same reservation mechanism as GS/DV/KR/CS; the matching A checkbox must be enabled for that vessel.
Base durations: A1 β 8h, A2 β 16h, A3 β 24h.
Rewards: A1 β 1 Tier 1 map, 10 base Relics and 10h automation income; A2 β 1 Tier 2 map, 25 base Relics, 1 Diamond and 24h income; A3 β 1 Tier 1 map, 1 Tier 2 map, 50 base Relics, 3 Diamonds and 48h income, plus a 0.2% Bobber chance.
Vessel loss chances: A1 β 1%, A2 β 2%, A3 β 3%. Sacred Insight multiplies the Relic rewards. Ancient Expeditions never grant Tier 3 map fragments.
The first hourly sinking roll is 1%, then +0.2 percentage points per risk-hour: fifth roll 1.8%, tenth 2.8%. Risk persists after recall/relaunch and falls by one risk-hour per full hour away from Crystal Survey. Sinking destroys the vessel, name, level, XP and settings. Insufficient upkeep recalls it safely; Auto Vessel Buy can buy a fresh level 1 replacement.
Max 10 vessels active at once.| Lv | CS Speed | KR Rate | GS Loot |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | β | β | β |
| 2 | +5% | +2% | +5% |
| 3 | +10% | +4% | +10% |
| 4 | +15% | +6% | +15% |
| 5 | +20% | +8% | +20% |
CS Speed increases only Genesis Shard progress. GS Loot is a 5β20% chance, depending on level, of extra base Gold; chest and item rewards are unchanged.
Sell your caught fish here.
Fish use Fish Storage. Plants and trash remain in separate Market inventories; cavern crystals use Crystal Storage.
Guild Orders β each week the Fishermen's Guild posts a supply order for specific fish.
Catch the required fish and sell them on the Market. Progress updates automatically as you sell.
Complete the full order before the week ends to earn a coin bonus reward.
β Golden Contracts appear occasionally and offer a larger reward for rarer fish.
1 real-life hour = 1 in-game day, so a guild week lasts 7 real hours. Only manually caught fish count toward orders β automation does not contribute.
Market Orders β catch a series of the same fish for quick coin rewards.
Market Orders pay a base 1β5% of hourly automation income per catch. Tidal Legacy increases the percentage; Guild Order upgrades extend the base 90-second timer.
Sunken Treasure Chests appear in your Market when discovered.
Chests can be found by: manual fishing (rare chance), your automation fleet, or Expedition Vessels (guaranteed 1 chest per 30 in-game days each).
Each chest contains Diamonds and a large coin reward based on your current automation income. Ocean-tier chests offer bigger rewards.
Sell All does not open chests β tap Open on each chest individually. Chest capacity starts at 1 and can be expanded via the Treasure Hold upgrade in the Pearl Shop.
Tribe Reputation
Each cavern zone has a Tribe. Open the Tribe menu to see the fish catches and crystal amounts required to advance your reputation with them. Reputation has five levels (IβV).
Tribe Bobber
Completing Reputation Level I earns you the tribe's unique bobber. Equip it from the Bobber Cosmetics menu.
Mythic Fish
While the tribe bobber is equipped, you have a chance to catch a Mythic fish in that cavern. The Mythic fish is extremely rare and acts as the zone's final challenge.
Unlocking the Next Zone
Catching the Mythic fish unlocks the next Maelstrom cavern zone. Each subsequent cavern requires higher reputation thresholds and a new tribe bobber.
Automation
Only Fisherman automation units (Ancient Fisherman, Ancient Fishing Boat) can operate in cavern zones. Other unit types will not catch fish here.
Kraken Hunt
You can now buy Expedition Vessels and send Kraken Hunt expeditions. Each hunt takes 4 hours β a 10% chance to win 10 Diamonds. High risk, high reward.
Your first Kraken Hunt victory has revealed a new path β Tier 2 Maps.
Win 5 Kraken Hunts total to unlock them. Once unlocked, every KR victory awards +1 Tier 2 Map Fragment.
Collect 5 Tier 2 Fragments to craft a Tier 2 Map. Use it in the Forgotten Isle tab to discover a Lost Isle β a rarer, more rewarding island.
Your Flagship also has a 1% chance on every successful island roll to find a Tier 2 Map. Treasure Sense and Sonar Array upgrades only affect Tier 1 maps.
You have now won 5 Kraken Hunts β the sea charts reveal deeper waters.
Every future KR victory awards +1 Tier 2 Map Fragment. You can also buy them in Expeditions for 100 regular map fragments each.
Collect 5 Tier 2 Fragments to craft a Tier 2 Map β use it to discover a Lost Isle, a rarer and more rewarding island than the Forgotten Isle.
Your Flagship also has a 1% chance on every successful island roll to find a Tier 2 Map. Treasure Sense and Sonar Array only apply to Tier 1 maps.
Join a competition and catch the highest-value fish within 5 minutes. You compete against 9 other anglers.
Your best single catch is your score β only that fish counts, not total catches.
Earn coin rewards based on your final rank. Top 3 earn the biggest prizes.
Competitions run in a series of 10 rounds. After all 10, a Grand Winner is crowned based on total series performance.
Only manually caught fish count β automation does not contribute.
Choose which item types are included when you press Sell All.
Catch each fish, plant, or trash item to unlock its Fishdex entry. Catching the same species repeatedly builds up its Mastery.
Fish size
Every catch rolls a random size (shown as Tiny/Small/Medium/Large/Trophy). A bigger size means a bigger payout β size scales your sell value anywhere from about Γ0.3 (the smallest) up to Γ3.5 (the biggest), all on top of the fish's own base value.
The very biggest catches become Trophy fish instead β they go to a separate Trophy inventory and sell for Diamonds in the Market, not coins.
Step 1 β Earn medals per species
Every catch of the same item counts toward that item's personal catch total. Hit these milestones to earn a medal:
Each entry in the Fishdex shows its current medal and a progress bar toward the next tier.
Step 2 β Zone point total unlocks bonuses
All medals in a zone add their points to that zone's running total. Crossing these thresholds unlocks a permanent bonus for that zone:
Bonuses include better sell prices, more storage, faster automation, higher rare fish chances, and more. Open the Mastery bar at the top of any zone's Fishdex tab to see exactly which bonuses are active.
Mastery progress is never reset, even after Prestige.
Targeted Lure (available in Bait shop) lets you mark specific fish as targets. Targeted fish appear more often in your catches.
Each Targeted Lure level gives you one extra target slot. Open any caught fish in the Fishdex and tap Target to add it. Tap again to remove it.
Limit reached means all your target slots are full β remove a target first to add a new one.
Targeted Lure only affects Automation catches (every automation unit), including the offline-progress estimate β it has no effect on your own manual casting. Marking a fish also boosts its whole rarity tier's odds, not just its share within that tier, so targeting the only fish of a rarity in a zone still helps. See the Bait shop's Targeted Lure row (its own "?" button) for a worked example.
Active Targets
How Targeted Lure Works Automation only. Targeted Lure affects Automation catches β every automation unit β plus the offline-progress estimate for time spent away. It has no effect on your own manual casting.
Marking a fish as a target does two things at once:
1. It makes that fish's whole rarity tier (Common/Uncommon/Rare/Epic) get rolled more often β even if it's the only fish of that rarity in the zone.
2. If the zone has more than one fish of that rarity, the targeted one also wins more often within that tier.
Example
Say a zone has 3 Rare fish species, and Rare catches normally make up 8% of your Automation's haul (split evenly between the 3).
Target one of those 3 Rare fish, and:
β’ Rare catches as a whole jump to roughly 21% of your haul (the whole tier got weighted up)
β’ Within Rare catches, your target now makes up about 60% of them instead of ~33%
β’ Net result: you catch that one fish roughly 4-5Γ as often as before
Targeting the only fish of a rarity in a zone still helps β it boosts that whole rarity's odds, even with nothing else to out-compete.
The boost strength itself (Γ3 base) can be increased further via the Archaeology "Angling" upgrade and the Abyss Rod tier.
Fortune is an unlimited permanent measure of your lifetime progress. It can keep growing as the game expands and never decreases.
Fortune is calculated from permanent lifetime progress. Most large-number components use logarithmic scaling, so every system contributes without one stat dominating forever:
β’ Lifetime catches (manual, automation and offline)
β’ Lifetime coins and Black Pearls earned
β’ Prestige count and Legendary fish caught
β’ Expeditions completed (Ghost Ship, Discovery Voyage, Abyss, Maelstrom)
β’ Forgotten Isles discovered, Seagulls and Crystal Bugs tapped, Trophy catches
β’ Cavern reputation, permanently discovered Abyss zones, unique Fishdex entries and Daily Quests
Your highest Fortune is saved permanently. New content or formula changes can never reduce it.
Targets Up to five Ghost Ships can be active. Expedition Vessels are needed to launch expeditions; buying more does not increase this limit.
How Ghost Ships work:
Base spawn rolls are hourly with an 85% chance. Ghost Whisperer shortens the interval; Ghost Dog can raise the chance. Unlaunched ships disappear after one hour.
Base duration is three hours, reduced by expedition speed upgrades and Ghost Dog. Failure chance is 5%: vessel and rewards are lost, though Shadow Fleet may replace the vessel. Successful expeditions grant:
β’ Coins (24β48 in-game hours of automation income)
β’ An automation unit (River Net, Ancient Fisherman or Ancient Fishing Boat)
β’ A guaranteed Sunken Treasure Chest. A full Treasure Hold blocks claiming all rewards until space is available.
β’ 10% chance: Ancient Frozen Storage (+3000 fish slots).
Expedition Vessels also independently produce one Sunken Treasure Chest every 30 hours each. The chest is lost if your Treasure Hold is full.
The Flagship searches automatically. Discovery rolls are hourly by default: Chart Room shortens the interval, while Navigator increases the chance per roll.
Once found, the isle appears in your expedition menu β enter it to start a timer before it disappears again. The Flagship resumes searching after the island expires.
Treasure Maps
Collect 25 Treasure Map Fragments to craft a Treasure Map. Use it in the Forgotten Isle tab for a direct search roll.
Where to find Treasure Map Fragments:
β’ Discovery Voyage expeditions
β’ Ghost Ship expeditions
β’ Forgotten Isle expeditions
β’ Fishing manually
β’ Automated fishing
β’ Clicking the seagull
β’ Participating in competitions
Tier 2 and Tier 3 Maps
After your fifth Kraken Hunt victory, wins grant Tier 2 fragments. Craft 5 fragments into a Tier 2 Treasure Map. When no isle is active, using this map guarantees a Kraken Vault Isle instead of a search roll.
The Kraken Vault Isle has five vaults: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Omega. Unlock Ancient Maps in Archaeology for 10,000 Relics (once) to access the sixth vault, the Ancient Archive Vault. It becomes available only if you open all five vaults before the normal shared 7-attempt budget is exhausted.
Repeat the order in which you opened the five vaults. The Archive allows one separate attempt per isle; a wrong order seals it for that isle. Opening it guarantees 1 Tier 3 Treasure Map Fragment.
Craft 10 Tier 3 fragments into a Tier 3 Ancient Civilization Map.
The Flagship is your personal expedition ship. It automatically searches the ocean for the Forgotten Isle and supports your crew when you visit.
Upgrade it to improve every aspect of your Forgotten Isle runs β from how often you find the isle to how much you earn while you're there.
Crew Quarters applies a share of eligible automation catch rate to Forgotten Isle. Cavern miners are excluded.
Navigator β Raises the hourly chance that the Flagship discovers the Forgotten Isle during its search rolls.
Fragment Detectors β Raises the hourly chance of finding Treasure Map Fragments during search rolls.
Ship's Log β Extends the duration of each Forgotten Isle visit before the island disappears.
Treasure Sense β While searching the isle, gives a periodic chance to locate a Sunken Treasure Chest automatically.
Plunder Rating increases periodic Relic-find chances both while searching and while on Forgotten Isle.
Chart Room β Shortens the interval between each search roll. Faster rolls mean more chances to find the isle and fragments.
Sonar Array β When a Treasure Map Fragment is detected, yields additional fragments per find.
Cartography β Trains the crew to spot forgeries. Each level converts some of the fake Treasure Map chance into a real isle discovery. At max level, fake maps are eliminated entirely.
Tap the five seals in the order you opened their vaults. You have one attempt on this isle.
Reward: 1 Tier 3 Treasure Map Fragment.
Your Google account has a previous save. Restore it, or continue with the new game. Continuing will permanently overwrite the previous cloud save.
A limited-time community event where all anglers fish together toward a shared goal. The more fish caught across the whole community, the bigger the rewards!
Sign in with Google or Apple to connect to the server and participate.
Online, eligible automation contributes Event Fish at up to 10/s before multipliers, or 300/s with all listed multipliers. Cavern miners do not contribute.
Offline fishing does not count. The event only tracks fish caught while the game is running.
Multipliers stack multiplicatively. Complete a Guild Order during the event for a powerful 10-minute burst.
When the community reaches each milestone, every player can claim that reward. Rewards are a percentage of your best single-prestige Black Pearl earnings.
When the event ends, the top contributors are rewarded automatically: Top 1%, 3%, 10% and 25% of all contributors each receive Black Pearls, Diamonds and Auto Income Packs. The exact rewards for each tier are listed on the Leaderboard tab.
Puts every draggable tracker (Guild Order, Mission, Market Order, Competition, Hourly Income, Tribe Tracker, Forgotten Isle, Pet Unlock Icons) back to its default spot and restores it if it got minimized or dragged somewhere unreachable.
When enabled, a dad joke appears in the manual fish catch popup. The first catch may have no joke while files load. Toggle this in Settings.
