Light the deep
The moon has cracked, and its light has drained into the halls beneath Deepwick. You are Pip, the last lamplighter. Run, climb, fight and build your way down through ten depths, and relight the beacon at the bottom of every dungeon.
Free to download for Android. Level 1 is free to play.
Five games in one dungeon
Every level mixes the arcade games DEEPWICK grew out of, so the next room is never quite like the last.
- Platformer
- Run, jump, climb vines, clear spike pits and stomp on foes.
- Block puzzle
- Call moonstone down from above and stack it into bridges and stairs.
- Maze chase
- Slip past wisps in winding mazes, or eat a moonberry and chase them back.
- Adventure
- Keys, vaults, chests, heart pieces and treasure hidden in the walls.
- Boss duel
- A Warden waits at the end of every long dungeon.
Build your own way across
Moonstone falls when you call it. Pick a block, turn it and drop it where you need it: a bridge over a chasm, or steps up a wall.
Nine stretches deep
Each long dungeon runs nine stretches deep, with a waystone between each. Light a waystone and your hearts come back. Fall, and you carry on from the last one you lit.
100 Wardens
After every long dungeon comes a Warden's hall: a one-on-one fight with a boss that has its own moves and tricks. Guard its blows, chain six sword swings, and use special moves like Lantern Flare, Rising Moon and Comet Rush.
A moonstone hangs over the hall for the whole fight. Pick your moment, and drop it on the Warden's head.
Get stronger as you go
Spend the Glow you gather on 14 permanent upgrades at the Workshop. Pack your satchel with bombs, tonics and hourglasses, and win 25 relics from the Wardens that guard them. Find the Feather Cape for a double jump, and learn three songs for the Chime.
Nothing that makes Pip stronger is for sale. It is all earned in play.
Play it your way
- Normal
- Three lanterns per chapter, and a checkpoint after every Warden.
- Hardcore
- One run, no saves and no second chances.
- Daily Delve
- A new dungeon every day, with the same kit for everyone.
Made for your thumbs
An on-screen stick moves Pip, and Jump, Sword, Turn and Drop sit under your right thumb. DEEPWICK also plays with a controller or a keyboard, and it works offline. Its original chiptune soundtrack changes with every depth.
